Vintage white Battenburg lace large round doily. Delicate hand-crochet surrounding Battenburg lace tapes to form flowers, stars, and fleur-de-lis in a beautiful open weave pattern. The centre of this doily is a large flower, surrounded by a ring of stars. The outer edge is made of two sizes of fleur-de-lis designs mirroring each other on each side of a Battenburg tape border. This delicate piece will look beautiful under a lamp or candle, and it would be gorgeous in a shadow box!
